What kind of yoga will you teach me?
Our school offers Hatha, Vinyasa and Naad Yoga styles.
*Hatha yoga is ideal for those new to yoga. In Hatha there is a greater focus on the correct alignment of the various postures that are held for several breaths. Hatha yoga allows one to learn basic postures, which while simple bring numerous benefits to the body. Hatha yoga is beneficial against stress and tension, allows for increased concentration, lengthening the breath and achieving greater relaxation of the body and mind.
*Vinyasa yoga is characterized by more dynamism, energy and fluidity of movement. Each posture is specifically connected by breathing, and the transition between postures is a fundamental part of the practice. Vinyasa yoga improves balance and posture and brings benefits to muscles and joints. By also working on the breath, it also allows for greater stamina and releases great physical energy.
*Naad Yoga, often known as the yoga of sound, is a deeply spiritual practice. It focuses on using sound vibrations, such as chanting, singing, and instrumentals, to enhance mindfulness and connect with the inner self. This form of yoga emphasizes the power of sound and vibration to affect the body, mind, and spirit positively.
In Naad Yoga, practitioners use their voice and musical instruments to create specific sound vibrations. These sounds are believed to align with the body’s energy centers or chakras, promoting healing and balance. This practice helps in developing a deep sense of awareness, inner peace, and harmony. Naad Yoga is beneficial for improving concentration, reducing stress, and enhancing emotional well-being. It is a holistic approach that nurtures not just physical health but also mental and spiritual growth, making it a unique and enriching experience for practitioners
